FAQ

  • What is Mindful chrysalis, Mental health counseling and consulting?

It all began with a passion to help people become better versions of themselves. Over the years I’ve helped clients learn to have a healthier work/life balance and reconnect with their wants/needs to experience more fulfillment in life.

Mindful Chrysalis is a mental health practice specializing in supporting helping professionals in reconnecting with family and personal interests through individual talk therapy. Learn to manage anxiety, trauma, and hypervigilance by practicing healthy coping skills and becoming more mindful and present.

  • Who do you work with?

Individual counseling sessions are for adults, ages 18+, who are participating by choice and do not have active suicidal or homicidal ideation. Many clients have first responder and helping profession backgrounds. Schedule an appointment to learn to feel more relaxed and improve your connection to your loved ones. Clients often experience improvements within 3 sessions.

  • What are some challenges you can help with?

I have been trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Individuals, Interpersonal Psychotherapy for Depressed Adolescents, Managing and Adapting Practices, and Restorative Practices.

Recently I have been focusing on helping clients with a helping professional background learn to reconnect with their families as they prepare for retirement. It’s tough to transition to family mode when you are so used to being in work mode and you can’t enjoy things because you aren’t fully present.
